All About Kidz teachers have a passion for giving every child in our care the best possible start. Each one shares the center's Philosophy and loves creating experiences that nurture children’s natural curiosity, making every moment truly made for learning.
Amy Woodrow
Owner
Hello, my name is Amy Woodrow, and I am the proud owner of All About Kidz. After working in childcare for 8 years and attending Pennsylvania State University for early childhood, in 2010, I decided to pursue my dreams and open a learning center. Over the past few years, I have watched my business grow with love, passion, and teachers who are dedicated to the early childhood field. My goal is to provide the community with a learning center that stands out from the rest. My dreams of owning a center and becoming a part of each's child's every day routine and love for education have been nothing short of amazing. I also have four children of my own. Joseph (20), Joshua (17),
Angelo (8), and Angelina (3) Being a mother to my own children as well as all of my children at AAK is the most rewarding job that I could possibly have.
Dana Sumpman
Director
Dana is a 2011 graduate of Penn Hills Highschool, and a 2015 graduate of Carlow University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. During high school, Dana worked in childcare at a local learning center. In 2017, Dana started working at All About Kidz in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom, and then in 2022, was promoted to Director. Dana also has two children that attend the center on a daily basis.​

Ms. Michele
Assistant Director/Preschool Teacher
Ms. Michele has working in the childcare field for 8 years. Before starting in childcare, Michele worked for 11 years as a vocational Rehab Supervisor at a local non-profit organization. Michele graduated from Slippery Rock University in 2003, with a bachelor's degree in Community Programs for Americans with Disabilities. She also obtained her CDA (Child Development Associate credential) in March of 2023. Michele resides in the Cheswick area with her husband and two children. Michele also enjoys running, camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Ashley
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Ashley is part of a team of Pre-Kindergarten teachers at All About Kidz. She graduated from Carlow University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary education and Special Education. She has spent over 10 years working in the early childhood setting, teaching preschool, and over four years of working with special education. Ashley joined All About Kidz in hopes of setting a positive foundation in the hearts and minds of young children as they begin their educational journey. She is also a mother to three children, Elora, Roland, and Renly.
Ms. Lacie
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Lacie graduated from Karns City High School in 2000 and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education in 2004 from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Out of college, Lacie worked in an office setting for 17 years until she decided to pursue her dream of working with children. Lacie started at AAK in our preschool as a floater between classrooms, and now is working alongside Ms. Ashley in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom. She is married, has one daughter (Alexandria), and has two fur babies (Max and Buckey). Outside of work, she loves camping and watching her daughter play softball.
Ms. Katie
Preschool Teacher
Katie graduated from Springdale Highschool in 2019 and is currently a student at Grand Canyon University majoring in early childhood and special education. She has always enjoyed working with children from the day she started babysitting at the age of 13. She also has worked at her church in the nursery. Outside of work and school, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephew. She also loves animals and has 3 cats and a dog at home. She enjoys engaging one on one with the children and families in her care, as she feels it is most important in the classroom.
Ms. Kaitlyn
Toddler/Preschool Floater

Kaitlyn graduated from Springdale Highschool in 2022 and is a 2026 Slippery Rock Graduate with a degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. Kaitlyn has volunteered as a coach for youth cheerleading and was a camp counselor for a summer camp a few years back. This is where she found her love for working with children. Kaitlyn works in all of the toddler and Preschool classrooms at All About Kidz. ​

Ms. Aden
Older Toddler Teacher
Aden graduated from Fox Chapel in 2023 and has hopes of studying Early Childhood or Cinematography at Point Park University in the future. She has worked with children as a babysitter and camp counselor, and absolutely just loves being around children. She loves to teach because she knows the positive impact that it has on their lives which is an important value to her.
Ms. Jodi
OlderToddler Teacher
Jodi graduated from Burrell Highschool and is a 2006 Graduate from Westmoreland Community College where she obtained an associate's degree in early childhood education. She has worked in the education field for about 20 years mostly as a pre-Kindergarten teacher, however, she feels that her heart is working with infants and young toddlers. Jodi plans to head back to school in the upcoming months to further her degree in the field. She resides in New Kensington with her family, loves the beach and to travel.
Ms. Nicole
Younger Toddler Teacher
Nicole has worked in the childcare field for the past five years. Her passion working with children began when she was a teenager and worked at Wildwood Highlands hosting birthday parties and school field trips. After their closure in 2019, she started working at a learning center as a toddler teacher and loved every minute of it. This began her career path in the early childhood field. She resides locally with her husband, two children who attend the center daily, and her cat and dog.

Ms. Brianna
Younger Toddler Teacher
Brianna graduated in 2018 and completed her Early Childhood Degree from CCAC in 2025. Her passion working with children has always driven her as well as developing relationships and becoming a big part of each child's early learning journey. Briana works primarily with the younger toddlers but has worked in all classrooms at All About Kidz.

Ms. Christina
Younger Toddler Teacher
Christina studied musical theatre in New York City and has performed since the age of 4. She has worked with children in kindergarten thru 2nd grade as well as in childcare with all ages. She is thrilled to be teaching at All About Kidz and honored to be a part of your child's education. She resides locally with her husband, three children, and handful of pets.

Ms. Angelina
Toddler Teacher
Angelina graduated from Valley Highschool in 2022 and has been working in childcare since she was 18. She was also involved in competitive cheerleading and traveled all over the world competing. She has six siblings and fourteen cousins so being around children is something that she has always truly loved. Angelina works part-time in our toddler classroom.

Ms. Kaitlyn
Infant Teacher​
Kaitlyn is a 2019 graduate from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Child Development and Family Relations. She has always found joy from working with children and is proud ot be a part of the All About Kidz team of teachers working closely with the infants. She resides in the Plum area with her husband, daughter, and two cats.
Ms. Rachel
Infant Teacher
Rachel is a graduate of Knoch Highschool in 2022 and has worked in childcare for the past four years. She has also babysat since she was 16 years of age. Her favorite part of working with infants is watching them grow, reach new milestones, and being able to cheer them on every step of the way! Rachel also played soccer for 15 years of her life and hopes to one day become a coach to young children.
